Close ratio M22 transmission with a Posi-trac 3:55 geared rear end. Factory engineers believed it to be the best match to the LS-5's power curve. All factory high performance components were used on the engine with exception of the MSD distributor, MSD High output Alternator And Insulated Hooker headers.
